When we take on a job, here’s what’s typically included:
✔️ Engineer-Designed and Inspected
Every underpinning job we do is designed by a structural engineer and includes inspections at key stages. This ensures your foundation repair is safe, legal, and built to last.
✔️ Building Permits and Warranty Insurance
We organise all required building permits, and if the contract exceeds $16,000, we also provide domestic building warranty insurance.
✔️ Brick Repairs and Frame Gaps
We don’t just stabilise your home – we help restore its appearance. We repair cracked brickwork and seal gaps between window and door frames and the surrounding brickwork using suitable aluminium or timber infills.
✔️ Reinstating Paving and Gardens
We carefully remove and reinstate existing concrete, brick paving, or cobblestones where required. If garden beds are affected during the work, we do our best to save and replant any disturbed plants.
❌ What’s Not Included
While we offer a complete underpinning package, some services fall outside our standard scope:
- Re-blocking – We don’t replace timber or concrete stumps.
- Plumbing – We don’t perform plumbing repairs or pipe relocation.
- Internal cosmetic repairs – Such as plaster patching or painting after works.
- Render repair – We don’t undertake render patching unless otherwise arranged.
We’re happy to coordinate with other trades if additional work is needed after the underpinning is complete.
